Day 15: may they all be one
To be filled with the Holy Spirit is to be immersed in the flow of intimacy that comes from God through Jesus to us. We were invited into that intimacy through Jesus’ death and resurrection. When Scripture invites us to be filled with the Holy Spirit we are being encouraged to live fully aware of the privileges and blessings that are ours in Christ Jesus.
John 17:20-21–“I pray not only for these, but also for those who believe in me through their word. May they all be one, as you, Father, are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us, so that the world may believe you sent me.”
PRAY: Consider the most intimate relationship you have. Ask God to grow your relationship with Him so that it is even deeper than that one. (For a reminder of the privileged position we have in Christ, read Ephesians 1)
