Start making a list of Scripture references that remind us that God is the only One who is worthy of our trust. Call Your List “Scripture That Tells Me to Trust in the LORD.” Here is a good one to start:
Psalm 20:7– “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.”
Matthew Henry’s commentary on this verse: “Neither the crown on the king's head, nor the grace in his heart, would make him free from trouble. Even the greatest of men must be much in prayer.”
PRAY: Remember what the Spirit of our Living God revealed to you yesterday? Begin your prayer by changing the words of Psalm 20:7 to make them personal. When you’ve done that, begin talking with God about the specific things you are trusting Him with.
