Day 6: Whatever you ask in my name
Who you call on matters. Remember Elijah? He took the people to the top of Mt. Carmel to remind them of this truth. Jesus reminded us of the same thing. (Add this verse to your list.)
John 14:13– “Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”
Whatever is broad…whomever is narrow. We can ask whatever and know that we have it when we ask in Jesus’ Name.
PRAY: When you make petitions of God in the name of Jesus, you are going to petition Him with the same heart that Jesus had–the heart that longs for the world to know God’s love, His power, His compassion, wisdom, knowledge and understanding. What are you asking in Jesus’ Name today?
