Fresh Confession

Jan 19, 2025    Sam Landrith

In this message, we're reminded of the transformative power of confession and repentance in our spiritual lives. The central theme revolves around Acts 3:19, which tells us to 'repent and turn back, so that your sins may be wiped out.' This scripture highlights the beautiful truth that when we confess our sins to God, He doesn't just forgive - He completely wipes them away. We're challenged to examine our lives and consider what areas we might be holding back from God. Are we comparing ourselves to others instead of focusing on our own relationship with Him? Are we allowing worldly influences to shape our thoughts and actions more than God's word? This message encourages us to daily turn to God, confessing our sins and seeking His guidance. By doing so, we cultivate a deeper dependence on Him, recognizing that we can do nothing without His strength and grace. As we embrace this practice of regular confession, we'll experience a newfound freedom in Christ, breaking the chains of unconfessed sin that often hold us back from fully living out our faith.
